Within the walls of the historic Schepp’s Grocery Supply warehouse, using many original resources such as the existing brick walls, tin roof tiles and steel fire doors - was the beginning of the creation of Gilley's Dallas in 2003.

Gilley’s Dallas has since expanded, encompassing 7 unique event spaces over the years. Although our concert calendar is consistently full, our real specialty is crafting amazing and unique celebrations for all occasions.

Gilley’s Dallas houses 7 different event venues within its 92,000+ sq. ft. To be used alone or combined with other spaces; all have easy accessibility and unique atmosphere that make Gilley’s a memorable location for your next special event.   • What venues does the Gilley's Dallas facility consist of?
    - The South Side Ballroom - The Saloon - The Loft - Bonnie & Clyde’s Speakeasy - Lone Star Room - Brazos Room - South Side Music Hall
  • What are your hours of operation?
    Gilley’s Dallas office hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, and tours of our spaces are scheduled by appointment with our sales team.
  • Are you open to the public?
    We are not regularly open to the public except for public ticketed events and concerts listed on our website calendar page. Our office hours are open Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.
  • I am interested in booking an event and would like to see the venue. How do I schedule a venue tour?
    If you are not already working with a Gilley’s sales associate to schedule with, you may call our front office to be directed to our sales team or request a site visit through our online inquiry.
  • Where can I purchase tickets to a show?
    Tickets can be purchased on our website calendar page or at the box office on show days.
  • Do you allow smoking in the venue?
    Smoking is not permitted inside any area at Gilley’s Dallas. This includes all forms of smoking including e-cigarettes. For our smoking patrons, we have easily accessible outdoor patios for use.
  • I left an item during a show or private event, how can I get it back?
    You may call or check in to our front desk during our office hours to retrieve the item.
  • Do you serve food?
    Gilley’s does not have an on-site restaurant, but offers full service catering for events renting our space and requesting those needs.
  • Does Gilley's Dallas have a mechanical bull?
    Gilley’s houses the famous mechanical bull, “El Toro”, from the 1980’s Urban Cowboy movie. It is not available for riding although, can be used for photo opportunities! Mechanical bulls to ride can be rented for private events by coordinating through our sales team. Must be 18 years old to ride or have parent or guardian present.
  • Can I bring in any food and drinks?
    In consideration of TABC laws and health-code reasons, we don’t allow any outside food or beverages inside.
  • Is there an age-limit?
    We are an all-ages venue although, some of our events require age restrictions so please be sure to check the details on the specific event you want to attend.
  • Where do I park my vehicle?
    Gilley’s Dallas has over 1100 secure parking spots for your convenience. These spaces are monitored and patrolled by neighborhood security along with other lots and buildings on Botham Jean Blvd. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Parking pricing varies on lot and event, however, pre-purchased spaces and lot buyouts can be arranged as well as complimentary parking for groups of all sizes. Valet parking is available on contract for your Private Event. Motorcoaches park and stage for free for all Private Events.
  • What is the bag policy for Live Nation concerts in the South Side Ballroom?
    Bags up to 12” x 6” x 12” are allowed in the venue. All bags will be searched prior to entry. Bags that are not clear will be subject to additional search. For other Live Nation concert specific questions, we invite you to visit
  • Is Gilley's ADA accessible?
    Yes! All of our spaces here at Gilley's are ADA accessible. Our on-site security will also be available to anyone at our shows that has questions.
  • I am a band or band manager - how can I play at Gilley's?
    We would be happy to take any information on your band! If your band is a good fit for any of our private event clients, that information is great to be able to pass along. If you would like to rent a room and host your own show, like our other concerts with entertainment promoters, our sales team can give you availability and pricing based on your needs.
